YOU AXED . . . WE ANSWERED!
Frequently Asked Questions
We hate to be crabby about it but please plan to ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY! Everyone needs to check in and sign waivers.
If you don’t have an entire range booked to yourself, and your entire group is not there at the start time, you may not be able to throw (and then you’ll get crabby and we’ll get crabby and it will just get messy, so please just come early!)
Also, you must wear or bring closed-toe shoes because you aren’t a crab and your toes won’t grow back!
BOOKING AT THE CRABBY AXE
- Walk-Ins are first come, first served.
- Walk-Ins are designed for groups of 2-5 people as you often share the Walk-In throwing area with other Walk-Ins.
- You may be asked to come back when we are less busy. We do our best to accommodate everyone.
- Walk-In participants receive safety instructions and one-on-one throwing practice, led by our fully trained coaches.
- Our last walk-in will be taken an hour before close.
Six tickets translates to 1 range to yourselves. To be the only guests in a range, search for and purchase 6 tickets on our booking page. If you purchase fewer than 6 tickets, you will just share the range with some new axe-throwing pals.
More than 12? Contact us at email@example.com!
Let us know if you are booking with other parties in the notes section at checkout (pick one name to say you are with). We will do our best, but the only foolproof way is to create one booking under one name.
Our crabby insurance people say we cannot allow non-throwers back in the range area. Sorry!
Yes, of course!
RULES AT THE CRABBY AXE
Ages 18 and up are always allowed. Children 12+ will be allowed when accompanied by an adult on Sunday’s ONLY.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR START TIME!
If you arrive after your start time and do not have the range to yourselves, you may not be allowed to join the range. This is because it wouldn’t be fair to stop the other guests’ gameplay in order to give your group the safety guidelines and instructions, when the other guests arrived on time and paid the same amount for their tickets!
You are fine if you have the entire range booked to yourselves – your throwing time will just be shortened and end at the regular time.
Lane reservations: All bookings are subject to our 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, as long as you give us at least 48 hours notice, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to your new reservation, whichever you prefer. With less than 48 hours notice, you may reschedule your booking ONE time and transfer the deposit to that day. If your reservation is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, your deposit is forfeited.
Group events: All special events are subject to our 7 day cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your special event, as long as you give us at least 7 days notice, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to your new reservation, whichever you prefer. With less than 7 days notice, you may reschedule your booking ONE time and transfer the deposit to that day. If your reservation is cancelled with less than 7 days notice, your deposit is forfeited.
We are handicapped accessible! You can absolutely throw if you are in a wheelchair as long as you have the strength and coordination to effectively throw an axe as judged by our Coaches!
We have only two requirements:
- Closed-toe shoes (NO high heels even if they are closed-toe)
- A shirt which gives you full range of motion
You may only bring your own axe when you are throwing during league night. These axes must meet the specifications for the league.
Tipping is never required but always appreciated! Our Coaches will do their best to make your experience fun and exciting. It is nice to show them some love!
Each range has a dedicated Coach that not only teaches the rules, but coaches you on how to throw. You will never be in the range without your Coach!
